Papers of Frank Leyden. 1940-1989.

The collection consists of correspondence, 1967-1989; diaries, notes and other documentation concerning bushwalking trips, 1940-1968; minutes, reports, circulars and other papers of the Sydney Bushwalkers (1940-1970) and the Catholic Bushwalking Club (1953-1968); copies of The Bushwalker, 1940-1948 and Sydney Bushwalkers Walks and social programmes; and a number of brochures, pamphlets and timetables, mostly relating to parts of New South Wales and Victoria. Leyden documented his walks with particular care, maintaining records of supplies, transport, conditions and routes.
